The Hare and Hounds is just a couple of doors along from The Two Pigs, but is aiming at a completely different market.

It has had a refit within the last year and is looking all the better for it.

I haven't yet been there since the refit, so will be interested to see what it is like, particularly if the reputation that it is not the most welcoming pub in the world is in any way true. Personally I cannot see any pub surviving in this day and age if this were true.

It always seems to be busy, whatever the time of day and in better weather, has some tables in the car park adjoining the pub which are very popular.
