Links PageYes, there's one on this site as well!Every web site seems to have them, so why should this one be any different! These are just a few of the pages I have found on my travels, which relate to the area. I will add to this page as I find new sites, or have them brought to my attention. They are in alphabetical order for no particular reason, but please let me know if you find that any of the links are broken! Also, you will see some mention that they are in the Wiltshire Ring network. This is a group of sites which have Wiltshire specific content, so go and have a look and see if there is anything which interests you!
A lot of good pictures of Bradford-on-Avon (and some other things as well, including photography and quite a bit about budgies(?)) on Robert Slades pages. This site is part of the Wiltshire Ring network
Oh, all right. I suppose I have got to admit it exists! Chippenham is only about four miles from Corsham and does rather dominate the North Wiltshire area. Up until now I have worked on the assumption that Chippenham is big enough to look after itself, but if you must know something about it, then try this site run by local resident Geoff Hawkins. This site is part of the Wiltshire Ring network This is where you can find out more about the campaign to reopen Corsham Station, closed in the Beeching inspired cuts of the rail network in the 1960's This site is part of the Wiltshire Ring network
A great site on Lacock, originally concentrating on the ecclesiastical side of life in the village, but now expanded over the years to include all sorts of interesting information. Find out everything you need to know about Lacock here. This site is part of the Wiltshire Ring network
No, nothing to do with tobacco! Marlborough is a thriving Wiltshire town to the East of the Corsham area. It has a lot of historical interest and the famous public school of the same name is on the western outskirts. This site is part of the Wiltshire Ring network
Well, it was a bit of an obvious one, wasn't it! If your connection is fast enough and you are using Netscape Navigator 4.0, or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, or higher, then this is the business.
A good little site for the local St. John Ambulance division. Amongst other things, they are responsible for covering the various events at Castle Combe motor racing circuit.
The secondary education Comprehensive school in Corsham is now on the web. This site is now beginning to develop. Initially it only had a prospectus on-line, but now has a few more sections. Even more content is promised "soon" In the meantime you can also contact them at :

A very exclusive hotel with prices to match. This building was, surprisingly enough, at one time the Manor House to the village.
The National Trust pages include their properties in Wiltshire. Gives opening times, disabled access and other useful details.
Home page for The Two Pigs pub in Pickwick, on the outskirts of the town. One of the best pubs in North Wiltshire (...or so they say!)
Find out all about how to trace any part of your famiy who might ever have been resident in Wiltshire on Mike Caswell's genealogy pages. This site is part of the Wiltshire Ring network
Run by JPC InfoNet in Trowbridge, this is an excellent and regularly updated commercial site, although it had seemed a bit stagnent it now seems on the way to recovery. It sets out to cover the whole of Wiltshire, which is no mean feat and I think it is just about succeeds!
